ABSTRACT
Once upon a time there was a rich man, who had a good and pious wife and an only daughter who was very beautiful. After some time passed, his poor wife happened to become ill and was about to die. So she called her husband and said, “Dear husband, soon I shall die, and I am placing our child in your hands. Promise me that you will not marry again until you can find a woman who can wear this ring.”
