ABSTRACT

MANY BUSINESSES DEPEND ON THE AVAILABILITY OF DATABASE INFORMATION for current and potential clients. Airlines want current and potential customers to access flight departure and arrival schedules. Stockbrokers want clients to access stock quotes. Automobile dealers want prospective buyers to access descriptions of new and used cars in their inventory. Entertainment businesses want the public to access information about events and tickets. Other examples of database information needed by consumers include customer account information, package delivery information, service call/time arrival information, college class schedule information, and project schedule information.
