ABSTRACT
CORPORATIONS ARE CONSTANTLY GENERATING INFORMATION, AND changing information, to stay current. They have to keep up with their customers and their competition, while keeping employees informed and up-to-date. It is because of this fast pace and the need to remain current that intranets, which are corporate internets, have become so popular. Intranets are a dynamic way to keep up with changing corporate information while keeping people in the corporation informed. The popularity of intranets focuses on their ease-of-use, ease-of-implementation, and central server maintenance-it is a cost effective way to keep people informed.
