The development of appropriate and reliable test methods for the evaluation of hair product efficacy represents a permanent challenge. The availability of such tests is needed for:
• The detection of the activity and potential advantages of a new ingredient, • The assistance in the formulation of this ingredient and in the development of new
products, • The development of claim substantiation files.
