ABSTRACT

The new design approach of this book is divided into two major steps. The first concerns the dynamic part of the observer/compensator and is covered in Chap. 6 (for robustness realization). The second step, which is covered by Chaps 8 and 9, deals with the design of the output part of the compensator, or the design of the generalized state feedback control

with a given . This design also fully determines the feedback system loop transfer function because (4.3) is already guaranteed.
