ABSTRACT
Network design exemplifies the more general systems analysis and design process used to design any computer-based system. Computer systems analysis and design together form a much newer discipline. While the process is becoming more scientific with each passing year, there are still many aspects that are somewhat “artistic” in nature. The methods and techniques are gradually becoming standardized as people in industry gain experience and understand the process and the work required.
