ABSTRACT
The inability to convey a material, pipeline blockages, and systems not capable of meeting the required duty are, unfortunately, not uncommon problems to be experienced with pneumatic conveying systems, and particularly so at the time of commissioning a system. The cause of a particular problem, however, is not always obvious and it may require some ‘detective’ work to identify the cause of the problem. It might relate to the type of system, the system components, or to the material being conveyed.
