ABSTRACT
In this chapter we will focus on solar energy. After all, in terms of sustainability, fossil fuels compare less favorably with respect to supply and emissions, and as nature makes such abundant use of solar energy, it makes sense to look at some characteristics of solar energy and its conversion.
