ABSTRACT
Electromagnetic (EM) signals are increasingly being used in both systemic and local therapeutic applications. In the following, we attempt to provide the clinician with an outline of the types of signals that are currently in use. This includes a general introductory classification of EM signals, based on how each signal varies in time.
