ABSTRACT
The structure of the chapter reflects these two broad aims of the chapter. In the first part, we identify the variables that almost confounded the search for the nexus. In the second part of the chapter, we explore the themes raised by the interview participants in part to help us locate them in their respective ethnic groups and thereby help us understand their experiences and identity. These themes bring us closer to some understanding of the nexus.
