ABSTRACT
In order to support an action for damages for the bite of a dog it is necessary to shew that the dog had to the defendant’s knowledge bitten or attempted to bite some person before it bit the plaintiff; it is not sufficient to shew that it had to the defendant’s knowledge attacked and bitten a goat.
