ABSTRACT

But teachers do most of the real "work" of the school and bear basic responsibility for instructing students who are the primary clients of education. And to structure their activities, teachers are given facilities (such as textbooks and a classroom) and are assigned explicit tasks for reaching curricular and noncurricular goals as well as duties associated with maintaining order, protecting the school environment, meetings with parents, leading extracurricular events, attending outreach activities in the community, and the like.
