ABSTRACT
Although fixed costs35 are provided for where land is registered, judgment creditors are also entitled to ask for all the incidental fees, including swearing and land registration fees, which are incurred as a result of the application (Ord 38 r 18(1)). Creditors should bring the details of costs claimed with them to court for scrutiny by the district judge. At the time of this edition, together with the said fixed costs, they can total almost £200.
