ABSTRACT
In the UK, issues relating to food quality are dealt with under ss 14 and 15 of the Food Safety Act 1990 and under the Food Labelling Regulations 1996. Section 14 covers offences relating to the nature or substance or quality of food. Section 15 makes it an offence falsely to describe, advertise or present food.
