ABSTRACT
According to the judgment in question of the Court of Appeal of Rouen on 29/5/1986, which judgment upheld that of the first instance court, the facts were that at night in a built-up area, Mr Anfry hit and mortally wounded Mr Monnois who was crossing the road on foot. The work accident insurance company of the free port of Le Havre took action against Mr Anfry for reimbursement of the payments it had made. The Monnois family asked to be joined to the proceedings in order to obtain compensation for the loss they had suffered.
