Your firm, Kenton Doyle and Co in Eashire, has been instructed to act for Katie Green and Samantha Harper. Both Katie and Samantha are solicitors working in a legal aid practice. Katie specialises in criminal law and practice. Samantha has expertise in immigration and nationality work. Both have five years’ post-qualification experience. They do not want to stay in the present practice which is run by Hugh Oliver, a sole practitioner who is not going to offer them any partnership in the firm, so they have now decided to set up their own legal practice as partners. The firm in which they are currently working has been quite profitable.
