ABSTRACT
It is not possible for two or more creditors to combine their debts and petition for the company’s windingup but it is possible for one creditor to assign their debt to another creditor to reach the £750 threshold required: s 123(1)(a). In practice, of course, the threshold is so low that such an assignment would be highly unusual.
