Case study: financial assistance Davyland Ltd (‘Davyland’) is interested in a major acquisition and management buyout of Sensational Ltd (‘Sensational’). Davyland’s only directors and shareholders are Angela Peters and Fiona Cownie. The directors have agreed that once they have purchased Sensational, they will appoint Debbie Smith as one of the directors of Sensational. Debbie has a formidable international reputation as a marketing director for another company which went into liquidation recently.
