If an IVA is pursued but cannot be agreed with the creditors, the debtor may be made bankrupt.
The aims of this chapter are to:
• consider the definition of an IVA; • consider the steps and procedures in applying for
an IVA; and • examine the circumstances when an IVA may be
challenged.
