ABSTRACT
In indigenous Chaggaland, courage is one of those fundamental virtues that define a mature and civilized person. A courageous person is patient and enduring in the inevitable upheavals and hardships of life, and is able and ready to sacrifice time, energy, possessions, and even life in unselfish service for others.
