ABSTRACT
From about the latter 1930s through early 1945, the pink triangle was the symbol sewn to the concentration camp uniform of prisoners who had been convicted of offenses against the German Reich’s sodomy law, whose paragraph 175 prohibited sexual acts or, from mid-1935 on, acts with a sexual intent, e.g., a kiss or possibly even a look, between adult males or between an adult and a minor.
