ABSTRACT
The first picture of Raquel Liberman was taken at a photographic studio in 1919 in Lodz. It portrays a f air skinned, romantic-looking girl, with a dr eamy and perceptive gaze. She dresses formally, in black. Her hand rests on her long skirt, holding a rose. The openness of her dress, covered by dark lace, is adorned by a long necklace of white pearls.
