ABSTRACT

This substantial work is now published in a loose-leaf format; it is said that a cumulative supplement will be issued once or twice a year together with a booklet containing updated tables and index – there will also, as necessary, be replacement chapters where existing chapters have been revised. The pages of the individual chapters are separately numbered, and each chapter is divided into numbered paragraphs which makes for ease of reference. In the preface the authors explain that the chapter previously included on public unit trusts has been omitted in view of the prospect of radically-new uniform Commonwealth/state legislation. The ‘User’s Guide’, for which the publishers and not the authors are presumably responsible, refers to Principals (sic) of the Law of Trusts, and fails to give the senior author the title to which he is due; subject to these points the publishers are to be congratulated on the high standard of production.
