ABSTRACT
The aim of a neurological history and examination is to locate the area of damage within the nervous system and then, on the basis of the tempo of the history, to make an attempt at diagnosis. The vast majority of patients with disorders of the nervous system require investigation by the increasingly sophisticated techniques described in Chapter 2.
