ABSTRACT
The questions which might arise in this area require, in the first instance, an understanding of the law of contract: its concepts, their development, and how they have been applied in specific instances to provide practical outcomes in cases. A further requirement for those whose syllabus extends beyond the law of contract itself is an understanding of the principal ways in which the law controls trading activities and the extent to which it offers protection to consumers.
