ABSTRACT

For those taking the AEB examination, English legal system questions may be asked as part of a problem question in Paper II and for others also it is advisable to take a flexible approach and not conclude that when Paper I has been attempted you will not be called on to demonstrate any further knowledge of the legal system. Thus in a problem question on contract you may be asked to advise the plaintiff of the appropriate court in which he would start his action and whether he or she would be eligible for legal aid.
