ABSTRACT

Most exam papers contain at least one question on European law. The dynamic nature of the subject means that this trend is likely to be enhanced. One of the difficulties confronting students is that the original EEC Treaty (now called the ‘EC’ Treaty) has been gradually amended by both the Single European Act and the Maastricht Treaty on European Union. It is necessary, therefore, especially when considering European institutions, to bear in mind subsequent alterations made by these instruments.
