ABSTRACT
This unit does not cover situations where initial instructions are taken at a police station, which are discussed in Unit 1.
There are six activities making up this unit: 2.1 assembling and managing information related
to cases; 2.2 arranging initial bail proofs; 23 dealing with the funding of cases; 2.4 researching the law; 2.5 advising clients on available and likely proce-
dures and plea; 2.6 assisting clients with ancillary matters.
