ABSTRACT
The amount of both primary and delegated legislation covering immigration control amounts to the most extensive coverage of any area of law in the UK. Whilst we cannot cover all the various statutory instruments, we will detail below the salient pieces of legislation this century, some of which have been amended or even repealed by the latest legislation, which will be discussed in some detail throughout the remainder of this chapter:
