Objecting to the child being accommodated by the local authority

There appears to be no procedure or criteria to decide whether the person who exercises parental responsibility is capable of providing suitable accommodation for the child. Where the local authority believes that the person will not provide suitable accommodation, an application will have to be made to the court for a care or emergency protection order because without these orders, the local authority is powerless to prevent the child being removed from its accommodation.
