ABSTRACT

Too often new designers of learning technologies don’t have models for what would make a good project—one that is reasonable in scope, is rich in opportunities for learning about design, and has the potential for making an educational impact on target users. This chapter seeks to fill this void by featuring eight diverse student projects in learning technology design (LTD). The projects are real: they come from seven different university courses, all taught by contributors to this volume. Our goal is to showcase key aspects of these final projects and the design processes students followed to get there.
