7.1 Identifying Strings, Numbers of Different Types, and Booleans
Previous chapters made extensive use of numbers (including matrices consisting of numbers) and strings (sequences of alphabetic or numeric characters not directly usable in numerical calculations). It turns out that there are different types of numbers in MATLAB as well as other data types.
