ABSTRACT
The respiratory system consists of all the anatomical aspects necessary to move air from the outside of the body, right down into the lungs to the small air sacs, called alveoli. It is, therefore, quite extensive, so certain parts of the respiratory system can be infected or affected whilst leaving other parts untouched.
