ABSTRACT
The issues considered in this chapter bear no obvious relation to each other and no attempt shall be made to find one. However, they do share one important practical characteristic: they are issues that feature occasionally in examinations in land law, rather than being habitual favourites of examiners. Of course, that makes them no less important, for a well answered question on say, adverse possession, is worth just as much as a well answered question on co-ownership. That said, this chapter deals with issues such as adverse possession and fixtures and chattels with no particular attempt to treat them as intrinsically connected.
