Consumer credit—rights of the parties

The following table summarises some of the respective rights of the debtor and creditor which exist, or may exist, depending on the terms of the agreement. The debtor’s rights are largely spelt out in the statute. The creditor’s rights will usually be spelt out in the agreement.
