ABSTRACT

Anyone who has ever watched a high-performance team in action can appreciate the extent to which teams can communicate, coordinate, and integrate dynamically to achieve results. This is true across domains-be it a sports team, military unit, business team, or medical unit. However, such seamless performance does not happen instantaneously. Teams form, develop, and change over time (often over substantial periods of time). Thus, organizations that rely on teams continue to search for performance measurement and training technologies that can give teams an edge in developing and reaching optimal performance.
