Roger Pielke Sr. was upset. The New York Times had reported that he was leaving a

Presidential science advisory team and it said that the Colorado State University

professor had “long disagreed with the dominant view that global warming stems mainly

from human activity.” Pielke, an atmospheric scientist, said that identification was wrong.
