ABSTRACT
The United Kingdom comprises England, Wales, Scotland (which together comprise Great Britain) and Northern Ireland.1 The Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, while not forming part of the United Kingdom other than for the purposes of nationality law,2 are represented by the United Kingdom government in international affairs.
