ABSTRACT
Like a mirror reflecting an image, indirect measures of assessment reflect program quality. Grades and student retention rates reflect on academic rigor. Internship supervisors assess the quality of a program through the performance of student interns. Exit interviews probe the level of satisfaction of graduating seniors, and surveys ask alumni to engage in reflective thinking about the quality of their education. An advisory board can evaluate student preparation to begin successful careers.
