ABSTRACT
Bridges from social psychology to other fields differ in size and importance, and some bridges to personality are reasonable candidates for the top position. It’s not only that there are two journals, the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology and the Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, that testify to well-established links between these two fields; it’s also that the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology is the field’s flagship journal, and that personality and social psychology are in the same division of the American Psychological Association. This shows well-established links between personality and social psychology, although there are also journals and professional organizations that are exclusively for personality or social psychology.
