ABSTRACT
Norah, a mature student with richly diverse life experiences, also remarks that what seems to occupy much of her energy is the level of ‘noticing’ that is required, that she needs to be able to think about her own lessons and teaching strategies at the same time that she must be aware of what is happening around her.
