ABSTRACT
The notion of interobjectivity is radically different from the no-tion of objectivity within empiricist science. Bacon, Newton, and their contemporaries were oriented in their work by the faith that a God’s-eye view of the universe-that is, a detached and totalized knowledge-was not only imaginable, but ultimately accessible by humans.
