Overall Trends in the Findings and Their Implications for Early Social Studies

In previous chapters, we presented details of the findings from our interviews on particular cultural universals and discussed them with reference to earlier research on the topics and to potential implications for teaching about them in the early grades. In this concluding chapter, we focus on findings that cut across all or at least several of our interviews.
