We have read what the great minds have said about education. Collectively, they all believe in the key role that experience plays in learning and tend to agree that schools have it wrong. Most of the people I have cited were philosophers not educational theorists. They were simply observing that education seems to bear little relation to what they have observed the learning needs of children to be.
