ABSTRACT

Accepting this educational system, I will never accept it. It's too bad.... It's too much child-centred and there's a ... I think the big problem, compared to France, is that there is no way they "double." You know like we "double" a year in France and it is so important. How many of the kids in here should have doubled before? Maybe they'd be better now. The thing is they carry on moving on to the next year, next year, with big big weaknesses that they will never ... and also they don't care about the end of the year, really. In France, you have another thing.... If I don't do it well, I'm going to do it again. And we were the youngest children, so you want to pass ... While in here, in year nine, where's the motivation? They don't care.... They're not doing any examination, school isn't new anymore, it's a ... terrible thing ... and how to motivate them ... when on top of that, you've got a horrible National Curriculum ... always the same thing....
