ABSTRACT

The use of computer technology in college classrooms is at an all-time high (Morrison & Green, 2002). Analyses of instructional practices reveal that e-mail, Internet resources, course Web sites, computer simulations, presentation handouts, and course management tools are an increasingly central element among courses taught at postsecondary educational institutions (Green, 2002). Many instructors regularly use computer-based technology to replicate, supplement, or even replace their lectures, discussions, and assessments. Without question, educators in today’s colleges and universities have more options for delivering and supplementing course content than ever before.
