ABSTRACT
Mary, a 35-year-old, single, hard-of-hearing woman, recounted the following recurring dream to me during the first session of individual treatment:
I was leaving my house to take a walk, when suddenly the whole world became a Trivial Pursuit® board and all of the people I met became Trivial Pursuit® cards. And the only way I could continue my walk was to answer the questions on all of the cards correctly. I became terrified, because there was no way I knew most of the answers. Then I woke up in a cold sweat.
