ABSTRACT

Before dealing with the mutual effects and interrelations of work commitment forms they should be reviewed. Our understanding of the meaning of the interrelations among the different forms and their effects on work outcomes expands if we familiarize ourselves with what each of the individual foci of commitment represents, A more thorough review of each of these can be found in Morrow’s work (1993) which, however; mostly examines each commitment focus separately. This volume elaborates on the integrative approach so its review of each commitment focus is much briefer. The technical aspects of the different scales such as their psychometric properties are not addressed; these too can be found in Morrow’s study.
