ABSTRACT

And what about bad deeds? Are they, and the villains who perform them, being punished as they should be? Not in most movies. Villains usually get away with their dastardly deeds or, if they meet spectacular ends (falling from great heights, getting blown up, eaten by sharks, or cut up in little pieces), those ends don’t seem particularly memorable in the face of the prolonged evil we have to watch before good triumphs.
