ABSTRACT

This chapter presents three case studies that illustrate in more depth the three orientations described in chapter 6. We present a detailed case study of Mary, a theoretical teacher, Patricia, an experiential teacher, and Donna, an intuitive teacher in order to elaborate further on their knowledge, beliefs, and practice. We believe that the individual portraits presented here add relevance to the conclusions and implications we present at the end of this chapter for both chapters 6 and 7.
